Every Vox Bobcat Series model seamlessly mashes up outstanding playability with superb pickups. This particular model comes finished with the original Bigsby tailpiece; a feature that has been loved by guitarists since the forties and lends this semi-acoustic its authentic style while supporting a powerfully clear sound. A more unique addition is the mounted set of three soapbar-style P90 pickups, each providing their own tonal profile, so you can smoothly flip through six possible configurations and shape the ultimate sonic palette using the tone and volume controls and toggle switch.

Upgraded Playability & Control

To firm up and enhance the playability, the semi-acoustic Bobcat has a 'set-neck' build, where the neck has been seamlessly fused with the body: a proven method used to construct many renowned single-cut guitars to not only guaranteed stability, but eased access higher up the fretboard and the tighter feel of a 25-inch scale length. The Tune-O-Matic bridge has been fixed at the optimum angle to ensure consistent intonation and smoother playability, while the body has been finished with a centred internal block so that, while the weight is kept to a light and manageable level, the sound is far more resistant to feedback, even at full volume. To polish it off, the S66 has been fitted with a full set of Grover open-gear machine heads that provide stable tuning and enhanced vibrational transfer.
